My Story
My mom, Bonnie, was a strong and mighty 5'3" woman who was both loving and unapologetically bold. Every spring, she filled our home with peonies that she cut from various places around our small town. Every table, shelf, and fireplace mantel contained vases overflowing with shades of white, pink, and burgundy. I, too, have come to love peonies and always think of her when I fill my home with that sweet smell.
In addition to peonies, my mom LOVED jewelry. For example, how many women do you know that would mow the lawn in high heels, a dress, coiffed hair, and earrings?
That love of jewelry and pink peonies rubbed off on me. Her spirit is at the core of everything I do, including my jewelry designs and business, the Pink Peony. She taught me how to live my life with both dignity and humility and a lot of spice and sass.
